Went here today with some coworkers and had a good time. Pros: fast service, attentive wait staff, food (had the lunch platter of smoked turkey and hot links with Mac n cheese) was great. Price was good as well. Cons: none that I can think of besides I wish they had this back in NJ A coworker had some problem with her ribs and they looked at them and agreed to give her those for free, good customer svs.

Dry ribs. I understand they're a dry rub, but why do dry on the inside? Good flavor, just felt like I was eating beef jerk. Except it was pork ribs. The beans were mushy. In fact they reminded me of beans that had been sitting in a hot pot all day on simmer. Again they had a good flavor but what's with the texture. It was more like eating soup. Now for the chopped brisket. When I first saw it I laughed. But once you put a little bbq sauce on it this turned out to be my favorite. Strange to eat brisket so chopped up, but actually good. Onion rings were the bomb. Sweat tea was great. Service was great. To be expected when there's only 6 customers in the whole place. Btw, I walked in at 6:30pm. Dinner hour. It surprised me to see that the host was also my waitress. But while I was there, nearly and hour, only two more customers walked in. I hope their weekend business is stronger, with a couple adjustments in the food this place could do well. I'd go back, not my first choice, but I'd return.

First of all, if you have a BBQ place less than an hour from Kansas City, you have a higher than average expectation to satisfy. Second, BBQ and Beer go together like PB and J. So, having a place called the Rib Crib, pictures of beer on your 'drinks' menu and a variety of smoked meats is just setting you up to disappoint your customers. Also, the waitress complaining loudly about how the lack of alcohol is affecting business does not help to put me in the right mood. On to the meal: The hot links were super lame, the pulled pork was pretty darn good... this brings me to the chopped brisket. I am not sure if the brisket was caught in bed with the chef's wife and he was disposing of it's body or if they think chopped brisket should resemble meaty sand. Either way, i was weird. The baked beans were mushy and unremarkable. Oddly, the star of my meal was the Cole Slaw. Suffice to say, I will not return nor will I be sending any of my friends.

This place isn't terrible but it's not good. The wait staff is the best part. Do not get the green beans unless you like them if they are straight out of the can. Beef brisket was very dry and the sauce is bland. It seemed like a really cheap chain restaurant.

We went here because hubby wanted ribs and the name seemed to imply this was the place to go. In the end, the ribs were okay :( He said that the meat was cooked right and fell off the bone, but there wasn't much in flavor to be seen. I had a chicken wrap and it was pretty good. Most importantly, there is not one vegetarian option on this menu, so don't force your veggie friends to come with you and think there has to be a salad - cause every salad has meat. Overall it was an okay meal, but not one we really need to repeat.

Stopped here on the way to Kansas City; intrigued by the name. Neither my daughter or I had ribs but what we had, we both enjoyed. I had the pigman - which was a smoked polish sausage, brisket and pulled pork on a sandwich topped with pickles and onions. YUM! My daughter had a chicken sandwich and she said the bbq sauce complimented the sandwich nicely. Service was good. I would definitely eat there again.
